At Østerlandsk Thehus, we have long wanted to offer a tea inspired by ancient Nordic traditions and ingredients. We are therefore proud to present two new Viking teas!

Viking Tea, an organic blend based on black and green tea, and Viking Organic, an organic herbal infusion.

Viking Organic is a herbal tea, meaning it contains no tea leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant. Instead, it is a pure herbal blend crafted from only the finest ingredients, including apple pieces, nettle, raspberry leaves, currants, rose hips, and lemon verbena.

This unique combination creates a smooth and flavorful cup filled with notes of the ancient Nordic landscape.

Taste

Viking Organic is a full-bodied and smooth herbal tea with a light, naturally sweet flavor from apple pieces and currants. Combined with the more herbal notes of nettle, fennel, and rose hips, it creates a truly delicious cup of tea.

This blend transports you into the Nordic wilderness with flavors reminiscent of ancient forests, meadows, and coastlines.

Brewing Instructions

As Viking Organic is a pure herbal tea, it can steep almost indefinitely. The flavor will simply become stronger, and the different tasting notes will become more pronounced the longer it brews. For the optimal flavor experience, use 100°C (212°F) water and steep for 8–10 minutes.
